The Minolta X-370 is a microcomputerized single-lens reflex (SLR) camera with manual control and aperture-priority auto-exposure mode ("AUTO" mode). In AUTO mode, the X-370 automatically sets the precise shutter speed for correct exposure according to the in-camera meter at the aperture you selected. An AE lock can be used to hold a meter reading and then readjust the framing before releasing the shutter.
The X-370 features a match-LED light meter for precise creative control over exposure in manual mode. For correct exposure at the metered value, simply adjust the aperture and/or shutter speed to align the blinking and glowing LEDs in the viewfinder.
This camera ships with the Minolta MC Rokkor 50mm f/1.7 lens. The X-370 is compatible with a wide range of Minolta MD/MC/SR mount lenses. For flash photography, you can simply attach a Minolta X-Series Auto Electroflash, adjust the aperture, and shoot. A flash-ready signal appears in the viewfinder, and the shutter is automatically set for proper sync at 1/60 sec. Moreover, the X-370 can be used with Minolta's wide range of accessories, such as wide-angle, telephoto, and zoom lenses, Motor Drive 1, Auto Winder G, Wireless Controller IR-1, and more.
The Minolta X-370 takes 35mm (135) film and shoots in the standard 36mm x 24mm format. It features a standard 35mm SLR loading mechanism and is easy to load, even when you're on the go.
