This particular camera body has been imported from Japan and is in excellent working and cosmetic condition with very minimal signs of wear.

The Nikon F4 was released in 1988 and was the first professional Nikon SLR to feature a built-in autofocusing system in the body. With the introduction of the F4 a new era of Nikon's flagship cameras was created. The Nikon F4 also received an automated film transport, multiple light metering modes and a whopping max 1/8000th shutter speed.

This camera doesn't ship with a lens however Nikon F4 works with all manual focus AI/AI-s lenses but of course really shines with AF Nikkor lenses. The camera works with all AF Nikkors and later Nikkor lenses that have their own aperture rings. The autofocus is very reliable and reasonably fast.

The Nikon F4 takes 35mm (135) film and shoots in the standard 36mm x 24mm format. It features an auto loading mechanism for 35mm SLRs and is quite easy to load even when you’re on the go.

SLR Cameras sold by the CPB Darkroom are film tested for shutter function as well as light leaks. This camera is certified to be in full working condition. The camera is fully electronic and requires 6 x AA batteries to operate. Batteries are included with the camera.
