The Canon FP (JL69) has been inspected, repaired, and tested by CPB Darkroom and is in excellent working condition. The camera functions mechanically as intended, with all buttons, dials, shutter speeds, and film transport mechanisms operating correctly. The viewfinder is clean and provides a bright, clear view for composing images.
As with the original design, the Canon FP does not feature a built-in light meter. Exposure must therefore be determined using an external light meter or a light metering app before making an exposure. This is a standard characteristic of the camera.
