Experience the Unique Magic of Cross-Processing:
CPB ReSpool 400C is crafted from Kodak Vision3 250D motion picture film, respooled and designed to be shot at ISO 400 and processed in C-41 chemistry. This intentional cross-processing delivers striking colour shifts, heightened contrast, and a captivating, gritty grain that separates it from standard film. Expect bold reds, electric greens, and a truly cinematic aesthetic. If you're looking for a film that pushes boundaries and creates truly unique results, the 400C is your ideal choice.
What is CineFilm, and Why Cross-Process?
CineFilm, derived from 35mm motion picture stock, offers a wide dynamic range and a distinct "film look." Cross-processing involves developing CineFilm in C-41 chemistry (standard colour print processing), deviating from the intended ECN-2 process. This results in the dramatic colour shifts and increased contrast that define the 400C's character. The film contains remjet which must be removed during processing, since this is an atypical process we recommend processing with CPB Darkroom for best results.

What is Respool?
Respooling film is the act of purchasing film in bulk quantities by the 100's of feet and spooling them by hand into used metal cartridges. The film is loaded in a light-controlled environment using specialised equipment and produces results which are identical to commercially packaged films (unless mentioned as untested expired stocks).
