Presenting the latest addition to our ReSpool line - BWXX. Kodak’s premiere motion picture stock, BWXX has been used on some of the most iconic films and continues to be the film of choice for those shooting movies on film. ReSpooled by us for use in still photography, BWXX brings a unique look to your images with a classic grain structure and vintage feel. 

Being a motion picture stock, BWXX was designed to be pushed and pulled and provides excellent results at different ISOs. At box speed the film must be exposed properly to get best results. Whether you’re a seasoned film photographer or just starting out, this film is a joy to use. 

Our BWXX is fresh stock, sourced directly from Kodak India. Rigorous testing, including technical ISO rating assessments confirm its exceptional quality. 

You can send us the film for processing. The CPB Darkroom offers comprehensive film services, including mail-order development, traditional contact printing, digital inkjet prints and high-resolution scanning.

Please note that due to the ongoing CPB ed. 4 our production and design team have not been able to produce new stickers for this product. The rolls have been respooled according to our normal standard and will be shipped with generic stickers and a label mentioning the film stock. We hope to start shipping the rolls with the new packaging soon.

Features of CPB ReSpool

1. Mechanically-spooled in a dust controlled environment. 

2. All film rolls are guaranteed to have 36 frames. 

3. Cartridges are not DX-coded but have been performance tested in a variety of 35mm SLR, Rangefinder and Point and Shoot Cameras. 

4. All film leaders have been cut with an industry-standard leader cutter for uniformity. 

What is ReSpool?

ReSpooling film is the act of purchasing film in bulk quantities by the 100’s of feet and spooling them by hand into empty film canisters. The film is loaded in a light-controlled environment using specialized equipment and produces identical results to commercially packaged films.
