Guide to CPB Lab Services Order Form:

Black and White Developer:

Most people rely on the standard black and white D76 developer, however from time to time we may have special chemistry available for optional purchase:

Standard Developer (D76): Ol’ reliable! Our standard B&W developer offers a nice balance between sharpness and grain and has been tested extensively with CPB ReSpool Black and White Films.

Ilfotec DD-X: Exceptionally fine grain, wide tonal range, DDX is the developer of choice with Ilford films such as FP4, HP5+ and the Delta Professional series. It is known for giving slightly enhanced contrast.

PMK Pyro: Distinctly recognizable for the sap green stains left on the negatives, contributing to a beautiful contrast of deep blacks and subtle highlights, PMK Pyro delivers a wide tonal range, unique grain, high sharpness and the negatives are uniquely suited to darkroom printing.

B&W Reversal Positive Slide Developing (for Ulta 100): Get beautiful black and white positives directly on the film strip! Idea for analog slide projection.

Pushing / Pulling:

This is an optional service. Select if you have manually over or under-exposed the roll, applicable for the full roll.

Full Roll Scanning:

Digital copies of each image delivered to your email. Our recommendation is to use Medium Resolution DSLR Scans for 35mm film and Epson scans for medium or large format film. For hi-res files with DSLR you can select the RAW File delivery add-on.

Add-Ons

RAW File Delivery: We are currently using a Nikon D800 full-frame camera to scan the images, this option includes the camera RAW file in .NEF format for each of your images allowing you to manipulate the image to your preference.

Sprocket Scanning: Get the full film look with film scans that include the edges with sprocket holes and markings. See sample scans in the gallery.

Half-Frame Scanning: Please select this option if you used a half frame camera (Ektar H 35, Olympus PEN etc.) for this roll.

Expired Film: We use a special formula to process expired rolls and give them a better chance of producing images. Please note we cannot guarantee results nor offer refunds if an expired roll comes out blank.

Full Roll Inkjet Prints: Each picture on your roll is digitally printed on 4x6 paper giving beautiful postcard size prints just like the good old days!

Timeline:

Once we receive the rolls we complete the processing and scanning within 7-10 days. The scans are sent as a Dropbox link to your registered email. Your prints and negatives are then dispatched via courier within another 2 weeks.

Please make sure you fill the form accurately with all the required services and shipping information so that the rolls are processed smoothly. For any assistance you can look at the guide below or send us a message over Whatsapp (+91 63824 68648).

Please note that services such as Push/Pull, Expired Processing, Epson scanning or other specialty processes may take 3-5 days longer.
