The Kenko C-AF1 2X Teleplus MC4 is a 2× teleconverter designed for compatible Canon EOS cameras and EF-mount lenses. When mounted between the camera body and a compatible lens, it doubles the effective focal length. For example, a 100mm lens effectively provides the field of view of a 200mm lens, while a 200mm lens becomes equivalent to 400mm.

As with 2× teleconverters, using the C-AF1 results in an approximately two-stop reduction in effective maximum aperture. For example, an f/2.8 lens effectively becomes f/5.6 when used with the teleconverter.
