The Nikon FG-20 (AV38) has been inspected by CPB Darkroom. The camera requires LR44 batteries for shutter operation, as it uses an electronically controlled shutter. The built-in light meter is not functioning, and the camera must therefore be used with an external meter or manual exposure estimation. Mechanically, the shutter fires when powered, and the controls operate normally. The advance lever is broken in half. The body is otherwise in good condition with light signs of use.
