This particular camera body has been imported from Japan and is in excellent working and cosmetic condition with very minimal signs of wear.
Nikon FM10 was released in 1995 and officially discontinued in 2017. The camera was manufactured by Cosina for Nikon and is based on improved versions of the Cosina CT-1 series which was one of the most popular mass-market SLR bodies of its time. Nikon added their unique mark to this body with the inclusion of a meter activation button, multi exposure and a depth of field preview along with their iconic red stripe and handgrip design.
This camera ships with the Helios 50mm f/2 lens, known for its unique swirly bokeh and vintage look. The camera features a Nikon F-mount and will accept any AI lens in the Nikon catalog including AI, AI-S and AF Type D lenses. The camera does function best with dedicated manual focus lenses. The F-mount also allows for plenty of third party lens options.
The Nikon FM10 takes 35mm (135) film and shoots in the standard 36mm x 24mm format. It features the standard loading mechanism for 35mm SLRs and is quite easy to load even when you’re on the go.
