This particular camera body and lens have been imported from Japan and are in excellent working and cosmetic condition with very minimal signs of wear.
Nikon FM10 was released in 1995 and officially discontinued in 2017. The camera was manufactured by Cosina for Nikon and is based on improved versions of the Cosina CT-1 series which was one of the most popular mass-market SLR bodies of its time. Nikon added their unique mark to this body with the inclusion of a meter activation button, multi exposure and a depth of field preview along with their iconic red stripe and handgrip design.
This camera ships with the Nikkor 35-70 mm f3.5 - 4.8 lens, The camera features a Nikon F-mount and will accept any AI lens in the Nikon catalog including AI, AI-S and AF Type D lenses. The camera does function best with dedicated manual focus lenses. The F-mount also allows for plenty of third party lens options.
The Nikon FM10 takes 35mm (135) film and shoots in the standard 36mm x 24mm format. It features the standard loading mechanism for 35mm SLRs and is quite easy to load even when you’re on the go.
SLR Cameras sold by the CPB Darkroom are film tested for shutter function as well as light leaks. This camera is certified to be in full working condition. The camera is fully mechanical and can function without batteries except the inbuilt light meter which requires 2 x LR44 batteries to operate. Batteries are included with the camera.

The camera body shows visible dirt and wear, which does not impact its functionality but reflects its well-used history.
