The Yashica Minister-D (VS-SEP26-01) has been inspected, cleaned, and tested by CPB Darkroom and is in fair working condition. The camera functions mechanically as intended, with all buttons and dials operating correctly. Manual focusing works correctly, and the shutter speed and aperture can be adjusted for normal manual shooting.

The camera features an interlocked shutter speed and aperture control system, allowing the photographer to select different proportional shutter speed and aperture combinations while maintaining the selected exposure value. The shutter speed and aperture can also be adjusted individually, allowing the camera to be operated manually without relying on the built-in meter.

The built-in metering system is working but inaccurate because the correct-voltage battery originally specified for the camera is no longer readily available. We therefore recommend using a handheld light meter or a reliable light-metering app to determine exposure rather than relying on the camera's internal meter.

The fixed Yashinon 45mm f/2.8 lens has been cleaned as thoroughly as possible. Mild dust and scratches remain present in the lens. The viewfinder has also been cleaned, although haze remains along with minor dust and scratches, which may hinder with the rangefinder focusing in certain conditions. These imperfections may slightly affect viewing clarity and have been taken into account in the camera's Fair condition grade.

Cosmetically, the camera body is in excellent condition, showing only minor signs of wear consistent with age and previous use. The images shown depict the exact camera you will receive.
