The camera functions mechanically as intended, with the shutter speeds firing correctly and the film advance operating smoothly.

The camera's built-in TTL light meter does not work. This does not prevent the camera from being used, as the Spotmatic's shutter is fully mechanical and operates independently of the battery. For accurate exposure readings, a handheld light meter or reliable light-metering app can be used instead.

The included Super-Takumar 55mm f/1.8 is in excellent working condition. The manual focus ring operates correctly, while the aperture ring and aperture mechanism function as intended. The Manual/Auto aperture switch is also working correctly.

The lens optics have been cleaned and are clear and in excellent condition, with no significant optical issues noted during inspection.

Cosmetically, the Pentax Spotmatic body shows normal signs of wear consistent with its age and regular use. The Super-Takumar lens body is in excellent condition, showing only minor signs of wear and remaining well preserved. The images shown depict the exact camera and lens you will receive.
